Has Anyone Seen A Bunyip
Synopsis
This is a story about greed, and what people will do to get money.
A bunyip has been sighted in the peaceful outback township of Drought. At least they think it’s a bunyip because these are mythological creatures and no-one knows for sure if they even exist. However a reward of a cool million has been posted for the first person to find one, and this surely means trouble. Instead of looking for and caring for a bunyip, all people can think of is the money.
Bluey and Jack organize a tour bus with overseas visitors. They intend to use all the travel photos to look for clues of the bunyip’s whereabouts. But what do they find instead?
Meanwhile the bus driver has issues about toilets and a group of lollipop ladies are on tour sponsored by a pizza parlour. Shirl, Bazza and the kids find themselves in the red centre along with four hairdressers, and a professor with his assistant looking for the bunyip when the Queen and Prince Philip arrive.
At the end of the day they all realize that money is not everything, but caring for others is much more important and maybe it’s best to just leave the bunyip alone. That is, of course, if it exists!
